Since its inception in 1998, the Fondation has contributed more than $120M* to the hospital. It serves as a catalyst and a driving force in carrying out the CHUM mission with its numerous initiatives including its capital fundraising campaign Giving ourselves the best in healthcare.
The Fondation’s capital fundraising campaign is one of the most important healthcare campaigns in Canada. It aims to maintain its status as a standard-setting and internationally recognized institution as well as to contribute to the new CHUM development. The Fondation has already reached 60% of its $300M objective.

Hôpital Pierre-Boucher Foundation was established in 1987. Its mission is to help Hôpital Pierre-Boucher implement priority projects designed to deliver enhanced care to patients and their families.
To date, the Foundation has contributed over $33 million to Hôpital Pierre-Boucher, investing in numerous projects, including expanding ambulatory care, reorganizing and upgrading the birth centre, and establishing medical imagery, cardiology/hemodynamics, and gastroenterology units.
The Foundation is currently conducting a major fundraising campaign. The campaign, whose theme is L’humain au cœur des soins, aims to raise $23 million over a 5-year period (2011 – 2016). It will enable the hospital to complete key projects such as building a new emergency room, expanding the birth centre and purchasing a wide range of state-of-the-art medical devices to meet patient needs. Also, it will play a leading role in breast and colorectal cancers screening and investigation.
Cardiovascular disease is by far the number one killer in the world. This is why the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation is essential, now more than ever. The Institute rely on the support of the Foundation and its donors to continue providing high-quality care that makes a real difference in patients’ lives.
Founded in 1977, the Foundation has given more than $218 million to the Montreal Heart Institute. Thanks to these donations, innovative projects have been launched to improve treatment for patients with cardiovascular disease, particularly through less invasive, more preventive techniques that are on the leading edge of knowledge and technology.
In 2015-2016, more than 30,000 donors worked together to keep the heart of the Montreal Heart Institute beating and inspire its specialists, professionals and researchers who show their dedication, day in and day out.

Since its creation in 1976, the mission of the Santa Cabrini Foundation is to financially sustain the technological development of the Santa Cabrini Hospital and the Dante senior residence.
Its governing board plays a crucial role throughout its campaigns by soliciting donations from business leaders, private foundations and the public in addition to coordinating a program of fundraising activities. Moreover, the members are voluntarily implicated throughout the various organizing committees while providing a rigorous supervision of the management of operations and ensuring that funds are adequately utilized.
Thanks to the generosity of its donors, the Foundation has contributed more than $ 7 million for priority projects of the Hospital. More recently, it has provided $ 3.5 million for the completion of the new pavilion that houses a training center, an MRI department and a new cancer fighting Centre entirely funded by the Foundation.
The mission of Fondation Cité de la Santé is to contribute to the betterment of care and services provided by the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de Laval. The population served by the CISSS de Laval represents more than 429 000 people living on the island of Laval, and surrounding cities of the North Shore.
In 35 years of existence, over 28 million have been allocated for projects in line with our mission. Support the development of CISSS de Laval is to support several facilities, including a hospital, an integrated cancer center, an outpatient center, several CLSC and long-term care homes.
Donations received are divided into five sectors: medical equipment, beneficiaries’s quality of life, improving of the infrastructure, research and education, as well as training and skills development.
Thanks to our generous donors, the acquisition of high technology equipment and staff training increases the possibilities of advanced treatments for an essential development of health care in Laval.
